What's the difference between Real & Faux Leather?

At Foxxy Boutique we lean toward selling faux leather handbags, purses, and wallets for a few reasons. First of all it is cruelty-free. This means that no animals are used in its production. Most of our Faux Leather products are made of Polyurethane or PU. This material is “green” and does not create any dioxins like other materials used to produce Faux Leathers. PU is the closest and most realistic reproduction of leather possible because it is just as pliable to work with and tends to wrinkle and break like genuine leather but won’t crack or peel so your bag lasts longer. Faux leather is so convenient because it’s very easy to clean with a damp cloth. The best part of featuring Faux Leather is the cost. Because it’s less expensive, we can feature quality items that look just as good as real leather but at a fraction of the price!
